Comline and Car Parts Distribution join forces
Comline Auto Parts Ltd (Comline), a leading British supplier of aftermarket replacement parts known for its Comline and Allied Nippon brands, has announced a strategic partnership with its Republic of Ireland distributor, Car Parts Distribution (CPD), based in Monaghan.
CPD has been an official distributor of Comline and Allied Nippon brand products since 2010, and, in that period, has achieved significant business growth driven in no small part by the sales success of the Comline and Allied Nippon brands. This success, coupled with the stellar relationship forged between the two organisations, has provided the platform for Comline to become major stakeholders in the CPD business.
This partnership will see CPD rev-up its offering on core Comline product lines, such as filters, brake discs, steering and suspension and Allied Nippon brand brake pads. In due course, CPD will also begin distributing additional Comline product lines, including clutch kits, hubs and bearings, and water pumps. Product diversification will also be complemented by a marked increase in brand and product promotional activity for the Comline and Allied Nippon brands.
Business Development Director, Ishan Kamdar, commented on this exciting new venture for Comline: “The Republic of Ireland market represents a major growth area for Comline, but it became clear that we needed a key distribution partner to capitalise on this opportunity – CPD was the obvious choice.”
Ishan went onto say: “Since 2010, Gary Larkin (CPD Managing Director) and his team at CPD have demonstrated immense passion for our brands and backed this up with sustained commercial growth. With the formal backing of Comline, I am confident that CPD will take our brands to new heights and continue their track record for success.”
CPD Managing Director, Gary Larkin exclaimed his excitement at the potential of this new partnership: “The backing of Comline, such a well-established and significant player within the European aftermarket, is a landmark moment for CPD and a proud moment for the entire team.”
Gary continued: “This partnership provides the impetus to take CPD and Comline to the next level here in Ireland, and there is huge anticipation for what the future holds.”
CPD Sales Manager, Danny Keane, echoed these sentiments and pointed to the synergies that exist between CPD and Comline: “This partnership sees two independent, family-run businesses with similar values come together. Comline is all about delivering value-for-money to its customers and CPD has, and always will be, committed to keeping its customers competitive. With Comline on-board, we are in a position to deliver unique and exciting new opportunities for our customers.”
With the announcement of this exciting new partnership with CPD in the Republic of Ireland, Comline is demonstrating its continued drive for growth and exhibiting its aspirations for success across the European aftermarket.
