Comline at Automechanika Shanghai
European business growth and prime market conditions in Asia Pacific drives Comline to explore additional markets.
Comline Auto Parts is set to explore new territory next month when it exhibits for the first time at Automechanika Shanghai. The business will use the exhibition as a platform to introduce its full product portfolio of braking, filtration and steering & suspension to the Asian Pacific market.
The company will demonstrate how its combined product and added value service offering has enabled the company to achieve year on year sales growth across Europe of 30 percent to position Comline as a leading parts supplier of European, Japanese and Korean cars and vans.
Comline’s Sales and Marketing Director, Malcolm Rosher explained: “Through some shrewd business moves and a growing portfolio, we have achieved fantastic growth across Europe. With our business in Europe performing so well, we believe the time is right to explore new additional markets and introduce the Comline brand to a more global market.
“We took the Comline brand to an exhibition in Moscow last year and it proved fruitful when we secured some valuable business on the back of it. The Russian market was impressed with our combined business strategy of high quality product and a ‘no frills’ commercial package; by keeping our costs down at a base level, we are able to offer a quality safety critical product at a sensible price. We are excited that we will be able to demonstrate this model to the aftermarket in Asia Pacific at Automechanika in Shanghai.”
As well as showcasing its existing portfolio, the stand will also feature examples from its two recently introduced product ranges of Comline branded steering and oil as well as a revolutionary PDF catalogue designed to more effectively support its customers. Also in the spotlight will be Comline’s range of brake pads and discs for commercial vehicles, which was launched in 2011.
Malcolm continued: “As a growing business we have experienced a steep, yet exciting learning curve over the past few years and now feel we are adept at understanding and interpreting market conditions; and our business model means we are flexible enough to adapt our strategy quickly to meet market demands. The business climate in Asia Pacific looks bright; in 2011, the car parc in China increased to 78 million vehicles and market predictions expect that China will be the largest global economy within the next 20 years.
“The Automechanika shows are the most important in the global aftermarket calendar. We are looking forward to visiting the exhibition in Shanghai and will use the opportunity as a fact finding mission and to introduce the Comline brand to a wider audience.”
