All our brake pads are ECE R-90 Certified. To achieve ECE R-90 status, each reference is subject to independent scrutiny. The pads have to perform to within plus or minus 15%, in a series of tests - friction response at low, medium and high speeds, compared to the OE part. This strict testing has been in place for over a decade now, it's been so successful that many non EU countries have adopted it as their friction standard, even as far away as Australia!

Led by Dr Keith Ellis (yes, a friction expert) a Director of Comline, the Allied Nippon/Comline team have developed a true 'one stop shop' all makes brake pad programme, covering  all European, Japanese and Korean cars and vans, and have just launched a truck, bus and trailer pad and disc range.
